There is a kind of girl, a wonderous girl, who is a shining example of what all other girls should be. She is harder, better, faster, stronger. Well, probably not stronger or faster. And calling her harder doesn't really make any sense. But she's better, which is really the point.

She is the nerd girl and she is unconcerned.

She thinks fashion and sports are dumb, and besides, her glasses get in the way. She will kick your ass in chess, though. Her Chun-Li's not bad either. She knows her way around a computer. She totally pwns the internet, but in real life, she's a little shy at first. She knows who Master Shake is. She knows comic books too and has a great idea for a novel. She looks a little bit like Princess Leia...maybe (but not really). She hates Jar-Jar Binks and really wishes George Lucas would STOP RAPING HER CHILDHOOD! Captain Kirk vs. Captain Picard: she has a preference.

She is a goddess--a ponytailed, loose-fit wearing, Emily Elizabeth Dickinson-loving goddess. Size doesn't matter. Big or small, short or tall, a girl who knows Superman's Kryptonian name is beautiful in every way. That's why she is loved.

And I will be her Geordi La Forge any day.
