Don't get me wrong. I love Rainbow Dash's go-get 'em attitude and Applejack's work ethic. That episode where Applejack and Rainbow Dash agreed to race in the Running of the Leaves was the tits! And I love the opposition of Rarity and Fluttershy. Rarity's so brazen and full of herself (without being a jerk...most of the time) and Fluttershy is about everything but herself.
Then there's my dawg Twilight Sparkle—bookworm, critical thinker. Truf.
Still, Pinkie Pie's won my heart. She can deal with a parasprite invasion while baking a cupcake through song. She'll admit she's insecure, but she'll do anything for the ponies she cares about. She can't fly, but fuck that. Wings are overrated.
I love Pinkie Pie.
